Design Work and in-depth consultations
I work with you to design garden spaces for new houses or improve existing gardens that suit your lifestyle and make an outdoor space that you will love to spend time in.
Landscape packages are client specific and include 1 or 2 hour on-site or virtual garden design meetings, plus a written brief.
The brief includes your desired garden theme/vibe, key considerations (ie planning/bushfire/vegetation overlays), any other specific Council requirements and a proposed plant palette.
From this brief, I develop a detailed Concept Plan followed by a Final Landscape Plan.
With my background in town planning, I can navigate complex requirements to obtain Council landscape plan approval.
Garden Advice
My expertise is site specific garden advice and soft landscaping, including appropriate plant selection and garden makeovers.
With my experience in native gardens using drought tolerant and climate adaptable species, your new or re-designed garden will grow to become a joyful space that is easy to maintain with less manual watering.
For complete garden re-designs and new gardens that include hard landscaping such as retaining or rock walls, fences and pathways, I work with reputable local landscaping contractors.
Need help with plant selection in a specific part of your garden? I can provide plant advice and obtain suitable species from local nurseries.
Hands on gardening work
For small projects, I like to get hands-on and plant out the design, or for larger projects, I can work with landscaping contractors.
I can also work with you to keep your garden looking beautiful and functional, with garden maintenance services such as weeding, planting/replanting, pruning, mulching in all types of gardens. This can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
I offer on-site gardening advice, such as whether to remove/replace trees, shrubs or plants that might be beyond their best or not suited to your garden. I can replant one or more plants, or even whole garden beds, with species that are adapted to the climate or garden space.
